Sarah B. Williams Joins Board of Directors

CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – March 6, 2009 –
Virginia Community Capital (VCC) is pleased to announce that Sarah B. Williams has been elected to the Board of Directors of VCC and the Board of Directors of Community Capital Bank of Virginia.
Ms. Williams is currently Managing Director of Cary Street Partners, a wealth management and investment banking firm. She has over 20 years experience in the financial services and wealth advisory industry. Her career includes positions at SunTrust as Senior Vice President and at Burson-Marsteller in New York.
In addition to serving as Chairperson of the Virginia Public Building Authority for the Commonwealth of Virginia, Ms. Williams also serves on the boards of the Mason School of Business, the Values Institute and the Business Partners. Additionally, she is a member of the Tribe Club Board and Development Chair for the College of William and Mary.
Ms. Williams holds a BBA and MBA from the College of William and Mary. She and her husband live in Richmond, Virginia.
